Redmi 9i India Launch: Key Details



The much-awaited Xiaomi Redmi 9i series is all set to launch in India today. The much-anticipated phone will be launched today—September 15 at noon and the launch event will stream live on Xiaomi's social media channels such as YouTube. The launch event is expected to kick-start at noon today and will be streaming live on its Facebook and YouTube channel. Although there have been no confirmations as of now, speculations are that the phone will be priced between Rs 8,000-10,000 as Xiaomi Redmi 9i falls in the budget category. Reports suggest that Redmi 9i will be the most budget-friendly phone in the popular Redmi 9 series by Xiaomi.

 

The previous phones launched by Xiaomi in the Redmi 9 series are Redmi 9A, Redmi 9, and Redmi 9 Prime. All these phones have previously been launched in India and now it's Redmi 9i that will be launching within the next few hours.

 

According to the teaser of the phone released by the Chinese electronic giant, Redmi 9i will have 4BG of RAM along with a notched display. The base model is expected to be priced at Rs 7,999 with 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM. The higher model is expected to have 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

 

 

The color options will be Nature Green, Sea Blue, and Midnight Black. Reports also suggest that the phone features a 6.53-inch HD display and has a 5,000mAh battery. Other anticipated features of Redmi 9i include a 3.5mm headphone jack and support for microSD card along with a MediaTek processor.
